Day 11 - my own temple

Au dortoir, parce qu'il est difficile de conserver quelque chose de son intimité et que sans intimité, on perd quelque chose de sa créativité, je refermé on espace avec des draps. Je me suis fait une tente, ou une cabane « comme les gosses » a commenté Daniel.
Comme le matin, je ne vais pas toujours chanter les Bhajans avec les astral travellers, je reste dans ma tente, à méditer. C'est comme une grotte. Pour rendre le lieu saint, je me suis fabriqué un petit temple.

A l'arrière plan, le mur fait de feuilles de cocotier tressées. Un livre supporte l'autel. C'est une édition de cuir d'une grammaire Malayalam que j'ai achetée lors de mon dernier arrêt à Cochin. Il sert à soutenir un carte postale : un gravure (handmade) d'un arbre. L'arbre représente la forêt. Au pied de l'arbre, une minuscule statue de Ganesh de la taille de la moitié de l'index. Il cohabite avec une petite déesse des mers, une sirène peinte sur un morceau de bambou.
Aux pieds de la statue, une pièce de deux roupies, pour la bonne fortune à venir. Des fleurs pour la douceur et les graines rouges de l'arbre de la cour dont je ne connais pas le nom. Une épluchure d'orange, apportée par mon amie Varténie, que j'ai découpée en forme de cœur. Derrière le livre, une boîte d'alumettes, jaune et verte. Une petite bougie ronde marque la présence du feu. Tout cela n'est que simulacre : on n'allume pas de feu en forêt.
Au pied de la minuscule montagne d'objets, un livre de contes, de La Mère : « Tales of all Times » pour m'inspirer le travail d'écriture à venir.

À l'arrivée à St. Jean du Doigt le 3 septembre je n'ai pas pris des photos, mais bien le lendemain. J'aime partager avec vous la photo de la fontaine, près de l'immense église, o? Dieu bénit son fils, baptisé par Jean le Baptiste. Dans cette église se trouve un étui avec un doigt de Jean.
